The Week That Was
It was an interesting week starting with an English heavy metal dude who loves streetwalkers and the one night stand gone wrong to the over eager friend of a friend, filthy Craigslist creep and college cafeteria Cassanova. So many issues were raised, from online safety and cheating to what constitutes a real date. Thanks to all who weighed in.

My favorite post of the week: I think the heavy metal club “date” was my favorite if only for its uniqueness. I’m starting to think perhaps the guy was turned on by the thought that she supposedly had penis breath (is this a legit phenomenon?) and was wishing it to be true. It wasn’t a traditional date, but on this blog we use “date” in a broad sense since dates in general have changed so much over the years. Are dates only when someone asks another person out beforehand?
My favorite comment of the week: UnsightlyJello’s wisdom made me laugh. It’s certainly a bad idea to go to a stranger’s house on a first date whether they’re from Craigslist or your local bar. However, the OP mentioned she was lonely and maybe was looking for a hookup. Dangerous? Yes, but if the guy’s a psycho killer you’re kinda screwed whether you go back to his on the first or third date.

My favorite post of the week: For sure, the substitute bread man who was supposed to be the easy rebound guy for the OP. Alas, he neglected to mention a crucial detail. His wife. I think this just goes to show there is no such thing as a free lunch(box) and it’s best to stay way from office (or convenience store) pool when you’re trying to get your groove back after a break-up.
My favorite comment of the week: Lisa for the ABCs of MVWD Dating comment!
