That must’ve been excruciating for him, poor guy! I once split my lip open when I fell down a flight of stairs, then a 50 pound suitcase landed on top of me. There was blood everywhere, and I have a nasty scar on the inside of my lip.

I can’t imagine sitting there eating a sundae with so much blood. Holy crow.

That sounds horrifying, but the kind of horrifying that probably makes for a great story now. Especially during one of those fights that ends up being goofy, “Oh yeah? Well, remember that time you BIT INTO MY LIP??”
